The dog is very faithful animal. No other animal serves man as faithfully as the dog does. He is a friend of the shepherd, a companion of the lonely, and a playmate of the child. He keeps a watch over our homes at night. There are dogs who dig out half-buried people from the snow. There are others who help in hunting. He receives us like friends when we come back home tired. Friends and relatives may desert us, but the dog never does. He is so faithful that he would save his master at the risk of his own life. The dog is man’s friend both in prosperity and adversity.
